Applique quilt

Not finished yet, just started putting all the pieces together. It has taken me 2 years to do all the applique blocks and only a couple of weeks to sew all the other parts. Not easy for me I have a hard time wrapping my head around diagonally placed blocks, even though I love the look.

Now to put the batting and back on it and hand quilt it together. Caitlyn wanted a black quilt, so this is actually the back, so the top will be all black. :)    It ended up being big enough to fit over my queen size bed.

Finished three tops in pinks-these are pictures of one, now I need to add borders, make the backs, sandwich the batting in, quilt and add the binding, lots of work yet.

2 years old

I made this quilt for Stella's second birthday, and for her new double bed. It seems so big, but she won't sleep in her crib anymore.                                

I also made the angel advent calendar for Stella.

Paintings I have done through the years, 1992-2002 about 22"x30" watercolors.

I made two of this quilt, one for each of my  great nephews, Isaac, in Illinois and Arthimis , in Germany. I also made 2 of this quilt pattern and colors for my daughter-in-laws nephews, Brett and Blaine in San Antonio. Christmas 2011

I made this quilt for Alexianna, my brother's step- granddaughter. 2011

I made the curtains, shams and quilt for my bedroom at house in Katy, Texas. 2010

2012, started on 3 quilts with the same design and colors, I finished one and it was sent to Germany for my nephew, Michael. I finished the second one for my Niece, Tamara, in Illinois and her new husband, Brandon. I am currently working on the third one for my nephew, David, in San Antonio, Texas.
